2012 marked the busiest year in the history of the Santa
Cruz Police Department. Although we experienced
a record number of calls for service, we continued to employ new and innovative tools
to help meet that record demand. Those tools
included Predictive Policing, online crime reporting, and our iPhone &
Android phone apps.
