Steven Tidd, 46 years old from San Jose was arrested for felony battery.
CASE 16S-04478: On Saturday 5/28/16, Officers responded to a bar on the 1100 block of Pacific Avenue regarding a battery. A man and woman were inside the bar watching a show. The couple had a small altercation with the suspect Steven Tidd, 46 years old from San Jose. Steven Tidd turned and punched the female victim in the face. According to witnesses, Mr. Tidd hit the woman several times rendering her unconscious. The victim was transported to Dominican Hospital. Mr. Tidd was arrested for felony battery. CASE 16S-04448: Just before 10:00 pm, on Sunday 5/29/16 a SCPD Officer located a stolen car in a drug store parking lot in the 900 block of Soquel Avenue. At the time, the car was occupied by three people. At approximately 8:35 pm, a high risk style car stop was conducted by SCPD. Ryan Murray, 44 year old, transient from Santa Cruz and , William Lee-Jobe, 24 year old, transient from Santa Cruz went to jail for possession of the stolen car.

CASE 16S-04498: On Sunday 5/29/16, an SCPD Officer found another occupied stolen car with two suspects inside in the 200 block of Front Street. Several SCPD Officers responded for a high risk stop and Petra Roldan, 19 years old from Santa Cruz and Isaias Martinez, 27 years old from Santa Cruz were arrested for possession of the stolen car.
