Our new bicycle distribution
program is underway. In collaboration with
Parks & Recreation and the Santa Cruz Teen Center, surplus bicycles in
police storage are given to youths who have a need for two-wheeled
transportation.
This is a great program to
ensure the bicycles are legitimately serving the youths of Santa Cruz through a
program managed by the Teen Center staff.
This program also helps us ensure
the bicycles are properly registered and don’t end up on the street or back in
our property storage.

If you know a youth in need
of a reliable bicycle, have them contact the Teen Center and register for a new
