Thank you Santa Cruz Little League, 2013 AA Cubs and 2013 AA Phillies

On the morning of Saturday June 8th, Santa Cruz Little League held their closing ceremonies on Field #1 at Harvey West Park.  Santa Cruz Police Chief Kevin Vogel and Lieutenant Dan Flippo attended the closing ceremonies to accept a generous donation from the families, players and coaches of Santa Cruz Little League to the memorial fund that has been established for the families of our fallen officers Butch and Elizabeth.  Santa Cruz Little League Board Member and Coach Dennis Kidd presented the donation to Chief Vogel.

2013 AA Cubs Team

The Santa Cruz Police Officers' Association sponsored the 2013 AA Cubs Team.  The 2013 AA Cubs presented Chief Vogel with a gift basket that included handwritten cards, delicious homemade fresh baked cookies, a cash donation, a game ball and a framed and autographed team photo of the 2013 AA Cubs signed by every member of the team.

The coaches, players and families of the 2013 AA Phillies Team presented Chief Vogel with a generous donation, as well.

On behalf of the families of Sergeant Butch Baker and Detective Elizabeth Butler, the Santa Cruz Police Department and the Santa Cruz Police Officers' Association would like to thank Santa Cruz Little League, the 2013 AA Cubs and the 2013 AA Phillies for their generous donations and their outpouring of love and support.
