OK Santa Cruz…Since you all did so well with the Safeway robbery suspect, we are moving you into the next round!! You all are getting good at this and at this pace…we might have to
consider deputizing everyone!
Our latest entry involves
this young lady:
She entered Lenz Arts on
River Street and asked for a bag. The
kind employees accommodated the request.
The suspect proceeded to go into the bathroom and change clothes (Don’t
ask…just understand that sometimes our crooks do weird stuff).
As she wandered around the
store, alert employees noticed the bag she was carrying was getting full. The suspect tried to leave without paying for
the art supplies that found their way into her overflowing bag. Alert store employees confronted her. Employees
tried to get their bag back, and that’s when the suspect started hitting.
The bag ripped spilling
some of the items. The employees
recovered some of the items, but the suspect was able to make off with many
more art supplies. She was last seen
running through the ProBuild parking lot.
We were able to obtain
some images from the video, and with your help, we’d like to identify and
arrest her.
- It’s not cool to steal things
- It’s really not cool to assault store employees
Our suspect was described as a Caucasian female in her twenties, approx. 5 feet 6 inches and 120 lbs. As you can see, she had her hair pulled back with a headband.
