Police Officer……Chris Galli
Today we held a “swearing-In”
ceremony for the latest addition to the force.
Chris comes with a fine
family history of public safety service.
His father, John Galli worked for the Santa Cruz Police Department until
1989. John eventually opened his own
uniform supply business “Galli Gear” where Chris worked as a young aspiring
officer. We are very excited and proud to
see the family legacy continue here.
Chris brings solid
experience from the past 2 ½ years where he worked as a Peace Officer for the
California State Parks system. He was stationed out in
the Mohave Desert where he learned to hone his law enforcement skills and
handle incidents with scarce resources and backup. Even in the middle of Nowhere USA, Chris
managed to stay very productive.
We’re betting he will be a
whirlwind of activity on the streets of Santa Cruz. Chris, you’re not in Kansas anymore!!
