The community is poised to celebrate "Durbin Day" on Saturday, May 14th, depending upon the results of American Idol's Wednesday May 11th voting results. James must place in the "Top 3" for an American Idol Hometown visit. "Durbin Day" will officially recognize James Durbin's accomplishments on American Idol and provide the community with an opportunity to cheer on this hometown hero. While in town for "Durbin Day", James plans to visit Kids on Broadway, followed by a motorcade and procession to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, where James will perform a free concert with the White Album Ensemble providing back-up vocals and music.
