Sen. Joe Simitian Pens Letter of Support for Governor's Reward

State Senator Joe Simitian wrote a letter of support on behalf of SCPD's request for $50,000 from the Governor's Reward Fund to help with information on the Carl Reimer homicide. Senator Simitian wrote an in-depth request to the Governor's Office for these scarce funds and fully supports the department's work on the investigation. SCPD believes that the $50,000 reward, if received, will play a large role in bringing forward new information that can help solve the case. We are grateful to Senator Simitian for his support and we're hopeful that we will receive this reward opportunity. We owe it to the family and community to bring this case to a close and believe that this reward is an essential element.
