In March, the department processed 124 reports that were filed using our online report system. The most common report (about 50 percent) was for petty theft followed by vehicle burglary - which constituted about 20 percent of the reports. Another 20 percent were for people reporting lost property.
The online system, which can be seen here, provides the community an opportunity to fill out a report for certain crime types at any time of the day or night. Reports can be accessed in English or Spanish.
