Help us Locate this Suspect


Suspect: Mark Miller

 

DETAILS:

On Friday, May 18, 2012 at approximately 7:30 pm, Santa Cruz Police Officers took a report of a sexual battery that occurred approximately 3 hours earlier at a business in the 1300 block of Pacific Avenue. The victim informed police that an unknown male suspect entered the business and told the victim that they knew someone who owed him money. 

The male suspect threatened to stab the victim if they did not help him get his money. The male suspect sexually battered the victim and made threats to kill the victim. The male suspect left the business. The male suspect later made calls to the victim making continual threats of violence. The suspect was described as an Arabic or European male, about 28 - 30 years old, 5'8" to 5'9" tall, with black fluffy hair. Santa Cruz Police Department Downtown Unit Officers and Detectives worked together to identify the suspect. They received information from the person who allegedly owed the male suspect money. The male suspect had been calling this victim making threats of violence. 

Santa Cruz Police has identified Mark Anthony Miller as the male suspect who made criminal threats, committed sexual battery and made threatening phone calls to two separate victims. Mr. Miller’s photo is included in this email. There is a warrant for Mr. Miller’s arrest for the above listed charges.
