The Santa Cruz Police Department participated in the San
Francisco Giants Law Enforcement Appreciation event before Tuesday night’s
game.
In pregame ceremonies, the Giants recognized
the loss of Sergeant Butch Baker and Detective Elizabeth Butler.
The Santa
Cruz Police Department was represented by a contingent of a couple of busloads
of officers who took the night off to enjoy the game and participate in the
event.
The Giants even managed a 5-3 win in the nightcap of the
scheduled doubleheader. Thank You to the
San Francisco Giants for honoring the work we do, and for honoring Butch and
Elizabeth.
