SOQUEL - Acting on a tip, Santa Cruz County Sheriff's deputies arrested Stephen Avellar this morning at a residence in the 3000 block of Erin Lane. Read more about the arrest here.

Suspect: Stephen Ryan Avellar
38 years old, 5’11”, 190 pounds, Blond Hair, Hazel Eyes.
Resident: Santa Cruz
Crime: Warrants for drug , property and illegal weapons.
Mr. Avellar is wanted for warrants stemming from several theft and forgery investigations as well as a warrant for possession of a deadly weapon. Avellar frequents the lower Ocean Street motels.
