Public Safety Advocate Lynne Brown will be the featured speaker at Public Safety Fall Forum 2015. This is a community awareness event, presented by Take Back Santa Cruz & Santa Cruz Neighbors. The forum meeting will be at Holy Cross Parish Hall in Santa Cruz on October 22, 2015 at 7:00PM.
Police Chief Kevin Vogel along with Santa Cruz County Sheriff Jim Hart, Santa Cruz County District Attorney Jeff Rosell, and Chief Probation Officer for Santa Cruz County Fernando Giraldo, and will be a panel for Q&A with community members in the audience.
In addition to the Q &A, Mrs. Brown will focus on the impacts of CA State Assembly Bill 109 (prison realignment) and CA State Proposition 47 (reduced penalties and reclassification for many crimes from felonies to misdemeanors). Lynne Brown will share a multimedia presentation which will shed light on information about policies that influence safety and quality of life in our community.
